So, let’s see. A bit about me. My name is Amy and I currently live in Seattle, Washington. I turned 40 years old in May. I was born and raised in Marble Falls, Texas where my family goes back 4 generations. I can trace my lineage on both sides of the family to when Texas was it’s own country, the Republic of Texas. I’m very proud of my heritage.

I am an author, podcaster, friend, Internet addict, Xena fanatic, WoT devotee and occasional crazy person. I have a few passions right now. I’m writing a novel called The Last Good Day. It’s dark and full of angst, but I think it’s good. I do two Xena podcasts. If you don’t know, a podcast is an Internet radio show in an mp3 file. My first cast is XenaCast. In the show, I discuss Xenaverse news, Lucy and Renee news, fan fiction reviews, video reviews, a forum recap, and episode reviews. My other podcast is the Xena Fan Fiction Podcast. In this show, I read a selected XWP fan fiction story. I also recently got into hiking. The Pacific Northwest is so beautiful and I wanna see it all.

I currently work for Starbucks and I really love it. I’m hoping to find a career here. I was a paramedic for 15 years so this would be my second career. I enjoyed being a medic but it just became too exhausting. 24 hours with no sleep and no regular food. How scary is it to know that the ambulance crew you get at 2am has been awake so long?

I have a pretty healthy sense of humor. I love to laugh and make others laugh with me. I believe the purpose of this life is to be happy and so I work towards that end in everything I do. I don’t see the worth of doing a thing if you’re not happy doing it. I’m also a bit of a perfectionist. I think if you’re gonna do something then do it right or don’t do it at all. Yeah, I’m pretty set in my ways. What of it?
